In the near future, robots are in every household, at the service of humans, replacing them in their daily chores. 40 years old Max, unemployed, and her daughter Paula struggle to earn their living by selling stolen robots on the black market. Unfortunately, their latest acquisition, T-0, is too old to be recycled at their usual fence . . . A godsend for Paula, aged 10, who dreams of owning her own robot!
